Tracy Arm Sea Kayaking
July 26-29, 2007
As a warm up to the Tatshenshini, four of the group (aka Team Kayak- Pat R., Deb, Robert, and myself) embarked on an adventurous self-guided tour of Tracy Arm by sea kayak. We spent 4 days and 3 nights exploring this majestic fjord that is about 30 miles south of Juneau. Along the way we were awed by stone walls of Yosemite proportion, icebergs, calving glaciers, seals, and who could forget the humpback whales that greeted us in Holkam Bay!
